Intel kabylake processors

Intel Kaby Lake: Are these intel processors supported by LibreElec? I have a mini PC which has this type of processor and would like to convert this mini PC into A HTPC. I'm looking to replace my existing OS (WINDOWS 10) with LibreElec OS. Will LibreElec work on a device with the forementioned intel processor?

They should be, but why not testdrive LibreELEC (preferably the new LE 8.90 Alpha 3 build for Kodi 18) on an USB stick, and find out?

Kaby lake should also work with 8.2.5

The processor is not normally the problem - it's the graphics that cause the most issues. As Klojum mentioned - just try it on a USB flash drive.
