Due the whole EU wide GDPR "improvements" we have to disable Gravatar.

As long the current GDPR situation is rather unclear it won't come back in near future.

Sorry for any inconveniences.

Would be possible to fetch all current images and put it in local database for this forum?

Or if this not possible make default images little different? Because those squared colors with two characters are so ugly

there is no possibility besides the static "no_avatar.png", sadly nobody is using avatars these days for some reason (you can easily spot that at any other forum too)

Despite the GDPR, it should never have been enabled in the first place. It's a shame that sharing personal information with a third party without consent first requires a law to be stopped.
