Libreelec is running stable for me on my mini mx 1GB/8GB v1.0
If possible, please include the full Lirc implementation for all the IR remotes (RC5,RC6) along with the NEC protocol support that is already present.
That code is already included in the wrxtasy's Odroid libreelec.

cool, i have panasonic ir remote that is perfectly design and it has complete buttons but not detecting by the box and ir-keytable only shows error not finding files in /sys/rc/ blabla
i plus one for this request

Including full LIRC at current state might break remote controls that come with boxes. Odroid doesn't have a remote control using amremote driver so it's easier.
I will look into including it after more important issues are resolved.

Is it possible to get an RC6/MCE remote working with amremote instead of using the provided remote?

Yeah it somewhat worked. With it plugged in I had a couple of lockups, not 100% sure it was related, but haven't had any without it connected.
I would really like to use the inclued ir receiver and create a .conf that will work with multiple remotes(maybe the stock one and MCE, pivos)
