Yes, that one. And yes, it should fix the stutter.
You can always disable/remove the add-on again.

Got it to work. Video playback on 4K HDR is perfect.
These are my settings for the x92 for working display
Index 0 is 4
Index 1 is 0
Index 2 is 1
Index 3 is 2
Index 4 is 3
also fixed another "test"
Temperature was constantly around 80 degrees, and in my opinion way to hot.
Found a big case fan laying around, dismantled the box, increased hole sizes in the bottom of the box, added some more holes, added holes in the side of the box and above the SD slot for air removal, and the fan underneath the box and made a connection through USB.
Box now runs at maximum 52 degrees, even when watching a movie.
It's also more responsive because the thing doesn't get so hot anymore.
Now just have to add something to make sure the box is high enough and air can get in.
My tip is add a fan! especially with the s912 CPU
My box always ran at 82 degrees max on LE
Android was gone as soon as i plugged it in hahaha
My fan is coolermaster and no noise...
So why not cool it hard😂
Guys, I appreciate the feedback and help, but please, let's keep this thread on topic.
Tested for couple of hours, runs like a charm The Coolest ! Display switches to apps when in an App setup, setup when in system setup.
Videoplayback is stable on FHD and 4K HDR
BTW thnx for the tip about the x92 logo, that thing kept burning even when box was off, so now there are holes 🤪
I have the MXV + S905. Installed Libreelec 8.90.5 clock on the console did not work.

This box doesn't use a FD628 compatible controller.
FD650 uses a different serial communication protocol, which this driver doesn't support at this point. It doesn't even use the same commands or memory configuration. In addition to that, I couldn't find the pins used by the controller in DTB. So sad to say, but this display will not be supported, at least for the time being.
Thanks for the clarification, I hope that everything will turn out all right, and maybe I'll change to boxing with a more functional display
Lcdproc isn’t an option for him i guess?
It's not connceted via USB or anything, so I doubt it.
You were helping me in the main S912 thread but it's more relevant in here.
I tried the dtb, the screens now lit up but it's garbled, the 'FD628 Display service' didn't make a difference, the screen is the same with/without. The top of the J (far left), is blinking on and off, the rest changes a little each time I reboot but is always static, the pause seems to have gone off now. Pic attached
If we can get it working great, if not it isn't a huge issue for me. Would be cool if we could get it to show elapsed time of what we're watching.
Please look at this post:
LED (VFD) Displays in LibreELEC
Try playing with the different settings, one of them should get it working.
Never mind, you already had the settings in your post

Thanks, any ideas where I start, I've installed it fine now have a wifi icon but the clock is still scrambled, changing the display type didn't seem to do anything and the other values have so many combinations it could take me days to try them all. I tried the ones in that post and all it did was added an Ethernet icon even though Ethernet isn't connected.
Make sure that Common Anode = checked.
Please post a picture with it both checked and unchecked.
The numbers with the combinations are the marks and their position. The numbers you can change are the position on the display.
So let’s say the blinking : symbol for seconds, is on position 4 on my display, but can be on 5 or 6 at your’s depending on how many digits it has.
Once you get that one right, the rest is easy
