dmesg is a command that prints the kernel log. I think 'dmesg | paste' should return a url to a pastebin sort of site with the content.
-
if i use dmesg it's a long list which i can't place because it's to big and over 30.000 characters
-
-
i made a text file for you
http: //http://fileshare.link/c2d0046f06e1a004/dmesg_s912_x92.txt
Just remove the space
-
Wow dude, this is cool what you' re teaching me!
-
The paste page is empty, and fileshare doesn't let me access it without disabling adblock. You can just attach it to a post.
-
will this work? The Coolest

There's no mention of the FD628 driver at all. kind of odd.
-
this is the plain file on which the box is running now, the q_200_2g because that one is the only one on wich my box would load.
But like I said, if i look at the OE android firmware file, that one says q_201
Only you guys said that the device tree with q_201 is 100Mbit lan, and q_200 is with gigabit support.
Then the choice is easy for me, GB lan is more important than a display that doesn't work.
-
Edit!
It works!
Don’t ask me what i did but it works!
It runs on you q_200_2_x92
Good job!

Awesome!

New issue arising
When I run the service addon, it causes incredible framedrops in video. I’m talking about 4K HDR.
Shutting the service down solves the problem.
-
I suggest you install the driver/service and add-on that are up to date.
Extract the content into the box (say into downloads folder).
SSH into the box.
Type in
If the display still works (it may look corrupted) then it's ok, and you can install the driver. Type in
This will make this driver start automatically after a reboot.
Then remove the add-on from Kodi and install the one in this zip file manually.
Then you can configure the display type to make it work correctly. You'll need the following configuration for the X92:

Shutting the service down solves the problem.
It also causes heavy "subtitle frame stutter" on 1080p video files with external subtitles...
Once the "fd628" addon is activated time and icons are dissplayed. Deactivating/uninstalling this addon will remove additional icons, but time will continue to be displayed after reboot on my X92 box.
-
The updated driver\addon should fix that.

Will this stop "subtitle frame stutter"?
Not eager to try, just to get icons, since my display shows 24hour clock without the need for fd628 addon.

The one (FD628 Display.zip) you posted above?
