Is there any chance of getting this card working properly in LibreElec 9 x64?
I don't want to give up on it since it is almost working well, it plays using hardware decoding until you seek, then it switches to software.
I have tried using the xorg-nvidia-legacy.conf file but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

It probably requires the older 304.xx driver instead of the current 340.xx driver. There is usually a thread with someone sharing a build with the older driver in these forums.

Yeah I looked around and saw libreelec 8 builds, but I wanted to get 9 working...
But after rethinking this I have decided to not waste time and just get a newer card.
Thanks for the help though

Be advised that the new Nvidia cards still only do 8-bit video and not 10-bit under Linux, "thanks" to the Nvidia video drivers. I'm using the GT1030 card myself.

I have now installed a Nvidia 560 Ti which seems to work better but still not perfect.
Is there any tweaks to get it working any better?

You'd have to be a bit more specific than "still not perfect" and "better".
Check which video driver is active. If the newer driver is now active, the older one may suit better.
But normally there are no big differences between the two.

Actually it is working properly now, it was a combination of EmbyCon and maybe the newer Nvidia driver in Milhouses Gerenic builds...
Either way I am a happy camper.
