failed to start xorg. Is your GPU supported. Intel i3-8100

I just completed a new build using an Asrock Z370M-ITX board and Intel i3-8100 processor. It is my understanding that the i3 is also the GPU. When I installed using the generic AMD/Intel/Nvidia file, I got the above message.

Where do I go from here. I love LibreELEC.

Until the next release of LE starts alpha testing (soon, but not next week) yYou probably need a Milhouse development build (or self-compile an image from our master branch) to have a newer kernel and driver support for the GPU.

Thank you for your speedy reply. I looked at the Milhouse thread, and it seems as though I need a working copy of LibreELEC on the unit before I can install the development build. As a noob, not sure I want to deal with that anyway. Again, Thanks.

No, you can install it onto an empty disk (if he provides the .img which I assume he does).

Your "broken" installation is fine, just wget/curl the milhouse build .tar file to /storage/.update and reboot.

escalade Milhouse only provides .tar files, no .img
