encfs for libreelec

Where can I find encfs for Libreelec?

Anybody successful in installing encfs?

It is not available in official releases and I don't recall anyone advertising their own custom builds with it included (at least, not here). You cannot 'install' it because LE has no software package management system.

I get this error.

/encfs: line 1: syntax error: unexpected "&"

i could build an addon, but just for LE9 (Kodi18), if you could test it pls tell me for which platform (RPi, Generic ..) you can test it

What image do you use? LE has no official Kvim image. at the moment.

I use this image. LibreELEC for Khadas VIM (SD & USB & eMMC) - LibreELEC - Khadas Community

I tried apt-get, and it seems that libreelec has no support for apt-get.

It was added update system-tools add-on by CvH · Pull Request #2667 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub to the system-tools add-on and should be available sooner or later at the addons, just have a look if you have already version 108 from the system-tools addon

No, that's not possible with LE. LE is a read-only system which doesn't have any kind of package manager such as apt.

If you want to use apt, you need another distro. But I guess that's not needed anymore as it will be available like cvh said.

I published all recent add-on changes ~2 days ago, so it should be in the repo

I just wanna say that encfs works. Thanks for it.

I have successfully setup rclone mount with encfs mount on my khadas vim.

Khadas vim have no problem decrypting and mounting from cloud.

I am a bit lost here. When I install "system tools" I got the 107 version. This one does not have encfs.

Is there a way to install the 108? I tries with update addon but stills stays on 107

Ok I think I got it, I'm on libreElec 8.2.3 so I guess I am getting the 8.2 branch which actually contains the system-tool in version 107. Any chances/plans of implementing also the 108 changes in the 8.2 branch?
