Automount data-filled DVDs?

Hi there,

I have quite a few data-filled DVDs. I connected an external DVD drive to the RPi, powered it, inserted a DVD filled with movies. But it doesn't appear, not even in the file browser in the rightmost, bottom tile in the parameters.

Where do data DVDs actually mount in LibreELEC?

Try looking from the /media folder and onwards.

Also, insert such a DVD and enter the following command(s) in SSH:

mount | pastebinit

blkid | pastebinit

dmesg | pastebinit

and share the URLs here.

I've no idea about support for data DVDs, but Kodi has no hot-plugging support so it will not detect a DVD drive connected after Kodi starts.

I rebooted first with DVD drive connected, previously loaded with a data DVD. Results are as follow:

mount | pastebinit ZaYa

blkid | pastebinit EcSL

dmesg | pastebinit GYNH

There's nothing in /media (redirecting to /var/media).

dmesg shows no signs of an optical device being attached .. bad USB ports or cable?

Plugged to one of the two USB ports of the RPi, inserted a disk after a reboot, seems to work.

Not sure why it failed in the first place, of if it will hold.
