8.2.0 on rpi2 or rpi3 freezes on hevc playback

Hi guys,

My hevc files played fine on previous version of LE,

8.2.0 freezes when trying to play hevc files.

X264 files etc play fine. Only hevc playback appears to be affected.

Thanks very much for any support on this.

8.2.0 release files for RPi/RPi2 have been removed from the release/download server while cause and fix are investigated

Hopefully it's a quick process to identify the fix. I was looking forward to the update and don't even watch HEVC on my RPi3 because of the lack of CPU/GPU power. I say just put the update back up with a disclaimer for those that watch HEVC files.

Fix has been merged. An 8.2.0.1 release will be made available sometime later tonight.

Hello, I am running 8.2.0 on a Pi 3, and can see the LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-8.2.0.1.img.gz release but no 8.2.0.1 tar for the update. Can I use the img.gz file to upgrade without losing my setting, db etc?
