Hi,
no boot without dtb on LE and android 7.1.2 on internal memory

EDIT: CPU is a S905W
I have the X96 Mini (AML-S905W, p281), DDR3: 2GB, Flash: eMMC 16MB, SW on eMMC: Android 7.1.2
-Boot from sd with gxl_p212_2g.dtb works fine
-SW: LE-8.2.0.1 works fine
-Remote: works fine
-Video Stream: PVR-Simple, Plex.. works fine
-WIFI: (chip ssv6051) does not work, but I know that it is not supported in your build
it's time to officially support this Device
Please try this build, this is the last patch I could find regarding eMMC issues:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-devel-20171213185420-r26471-gc91652d.tar
kszaq Okay I installed 7.1 but having a newer version of Android makes no difference.
Without dtb box hangs at logo.
Now my question is how can I extract the device tree?
Also getting this /dev/system does not exist error with a new MXQ PRO 4K box when trying to execute installtointernal. Sticker says 905X, dmesg showing undetected NAND id. This was using the build posted by kszaq above.
NAND chip has some strange S logo markings say PF015-125 TP. PCB is marked as S905X_MXQPRO_D3606_20170818_V17.

I had the same type purchase and it wasn't a 905X but a 905W. Boot into recovery if it says P281 it is W. I'm willing to bet that the /dev/system/ doesn't exist boxes are all W's as that is exactly what they do when trying to install to internal.(Or at least some of the same chips being used now) Runs fine off of SD card, but thats no fun, is it?

I booted in recovery and checked, it says
Amlogic/p212/p212
6.0.1MHC19J/20170422
So appears to be s905x not s905w.
Everyone with eMMC issue, please try one of these device trees:
NAND chip has some strange S logo markings say PF015-125 TP.
This is not NAND, this is RAM. Non-compatible device id cannot be solved as NAND driver is closed source.
Here kszaq, dmesg output using gxl_p212_1g_slowemmc.dtb and the LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-devel-20171213185420-r26471-gc91652d.tar build above.
Still no /dev/sys

Hi,
lt seems OK with a95x-R1 S905W 1/8g device after 2 consecutive installs.
Wonderfull work !!!
Is this dtb very early beta ?

Is this on a device that had the issue before? Please post dmesg | paste collected after a fresh boot.
Here are 2 dmesg of a s905x and a s905w device
both had the issue and have now LE installed to internal
