Until three days ago I could watch movies and listening music fine

Something must have changed during those days. Is the integrity of your video files still okay? They may be on a NAS, but that doesn't mean they are indestructible.

I'm not a video expert, but there is constant moaning by the video player. And some audio hiccups too. Is every video you play this way? I can tell they are not the most legal of video files, meaning this is not an official video rip. So if the person doing the recode did a horrible job, there is not much that Kodi can fix.

"Stuttering" can have so many different causes. Kodi/LibreELEC does not do any transcoding, so we can rule that out for now.

If you can wire your RPi, then please do so simply to rule out wifi problems.

Please provide a full debug log.

How to post a log (wiki)

    1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging
    2. Restart Kodi
    3. Replicate the problem
    4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)

use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link

Good and bad news... The system does recognize the device, but after initialization it is being reset at least 5 times and probably constantly.

You didn't mention what RPi type you exactly have, but perhaps your power adapter is not up to the task of powering all attached devices.

Can you power the CD/DVD drive externally/separately?

On the Kodi forum there seems to be no longer full support for the Phenomenal skin after Kodi v17...

So I'm not sure how/if things still work in Kodi 18 or 19 on your RPi4 setup.

I would start in the addon_settings folder and find the skin.phenonemal subfolder and go from there.

Perhaps you can enter your custom folder in the skin's settings file.

But I've got a second TV and the mobile items too. So it is a idea to use Libreelec like a server for all of them. And UPnP is one option to connect it. But I will test SMB or NFS as well.

Ah.. It's always handy to know the full story. Personally I tried UPnP a long time ago, but it didn't suit my needs. External subtitles were not supported. I have no clue with UPnP's database is falling behind, something must be cached somewhere.

Sharing metadata in a centralized database can also be done via the MariaDB Server add-on. That is, depending on which type of RPi you have...

First question perhaps: why use UPnP on a RPi that is connected to your TV?

Using a SMB or NFS connection to your media/file server is much more preferable without the hassle of UPnP.

In Kodi, you will need to fill the video database properly with a decent file protocol first anyway.

Why is this Bug still in Kodi?

Your line of questioning is sometimes rather 'peculiar' to me, just like you did with the thread title...

FYI: there are no 40-60 plus fulltime developers working on RPi-4 with LibreELEC, only a handful at best.

Bugs in software are not always easy to trace / reproduce / fix / retest.

So unless you have those answers yourself, I suggest you refrain from questions like "Why has this not been fixed yet".

People might take such comments the wrong way. LibreELEC is open-source, so anyone with sufficient programming skills can join.
