Just wondering what device you use as a NFS server...?
I'm using Ubuntu Server 18.04 here.

I've never bothered with the 'new' mounting process in LibreELEC. Simply only placing a mount command in autostart.sh is enough for me, along with having "Wait for network" enabled for 30 secs (RPIs with wifi are sometimes slow). As an example:

Install and run GParted in Mint. You can check the status of the SDcard partitions. And yes, read-only mode can be one of the culprits.

Last time I attempted an update using this type of file it corrupted my database.
Then you may have had a corrupted SD card when the img.gz file got extracted. However, the img.gz file can also be used for updating LibreELEC. It will be decompressing automagically.
Whatever went wrong the previous time, will not happen every time.
That said, always make backups first before upgrading an OS or application.

How do I set up a bigger pc in my house so they use it's graphics ect?
That all goes way beyond the realm of support by LibrELEC. Also, there have been plenty of HP thin clients with many different hardware setups, it's impossible to tell if they are useable. So if the capabilities of the graphics engines on these thin clients themselves turn out to be insufficient for today's LibreELEC usage, you can still use the thin clients as sophisticated book ends.

Try contacting the Argon developers, it's their software you are downloading.

Kindly also provide your kodi.log file, preferably not via Mega.nz.

Need a fix.
We also could need a bit less drama in your thread title.
And we could use the debug-enabled kodi log of your setup with the sound interruptions. -
I think that delay is only a few seconds. Not searching for the SD card would a setting in the firmware, not something LibreELEC could force, I imagine. Anyway, how often are you planning to reboot your RPi?

LE10 doesn't even boot, screen stays black after the "partition expanding" text. 9.2.7 has so much tearing in any screen mode it's actually hard to use it, sometimes the playback gets stuck in such a way that when I return it through the "fullscreen" button in UI, the screen just freezes.
Tearing in any screen mode, but it doesn't even boot..? That's a bit weird.
Are you running the RPi4 in 4K at 30Hz..?
Sometimes the playback gets stuck in such a way that when I return it through the "fullscreen" button in UI, the screen just freezes.
Provide a full debug-enabled log file after playing one of your problem videos.
Right now there are so many variables that giving direct solutions is impossible.
Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link -
dd is a Linux type command that can write file images to disks, so yes, with the right parameters, that should still work.
No idea which exact parameters are required on an (old) Mac machine though.

Which HDMI port on the RPi4 are you using?
-
isn't that true?
Only if you know what you're doing. LE 10 is still in a beta / testing phase, thus things can break.
If that could be a problem for you, then simply wait for the final stable LibreELEC 10 release.

Webenot Please do not abuse the forum's report function for requesting to add network drivers.

What am I doing wrong?
With the newest LE beta builds .3 and .4 you can update your RPi4 firmwares, previous LE versions may fail. I suggest you do that first.
Writing the images I use Rufus for Window, they seem to give the least amount of troubles.

I'm running Kodi on an A-Sure android box
Do not come to this forum again for embedding download links regarding video piracy software into your posts.
You WILL be kicked out before you can mumble 'what the f...'.
This is your one and only warning.
