I run libreelec 8.2.3.1 with my KI Pro , but the integrated tv tuner is not enough to me because the tvheadend server use more clients in my household.
I buy tbs-5520se dvb t2/s2 usb tuner, but my system not recognise.
Someone has any advice, how can i install driver for it?

Sadly dead my Amlogic K1Plus device, with i runnig librelec with tvheadend tv server, watch movies with true fps, etc.
I dont find a new one, so i need advice what devices can run latest libreelec, and has DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 tuner.
When can run retro pc games C64, etc thats good too.
I preferred best buy (cheap) solution.

i noticed 2 things not work properly with LE8 versions.
1. Screen saver sometimes switch back to normal screen without user interaction
2. 3d movies (I tried with half ou) not switch my TV to 3D mode.
Both of this features work with LE7 series.
I tested libreelec 7 latest (k) Libreelec 8.0.1. (i) version and android minix u1 rom on mini mx
Still bad both libreelec pic quality.

I install a minix rom to nand, and then my sd libreelec and nand android rom is lost the fix mac adress.
Every reboot i have new mac adress to my mini MX v1 (1/8)
Any solution can someone?

Hi kszaqI've tested the 05/08 build on an SD card (with NFS shares mounted from LE, and passthrough using SPDIF), and so far I haven't encountered stutter : drop/skip counters stay at 0, and visually every "fast" scenes are smooth. It's the first LE8 build with which I haven't had an issue with stutter
I'll use it for a few days, with full length movies, and will let you know.
For me this version freeze at bootlogo

I don't hope nothing, just try to help make Libreelec 8 perfect too
And addons and addon fixes will release later just for Krypton.
But just to make sure this is not throughput-related, you may try to play one of the "problematic" files locally, thus excluding the LAN factor.
When I change sdcard from LE8 to LE7 sd, the same device play the same movie from the same source without problem
If we're speaking about local playback, mind that some I/O might be running in background, limiting the SD card read speed. Thus your card might become the bottleneck while playing back.
I've experienced exactly the same issue and after installing to internal storage the playback became visibly absolutely smooth. The reason for that is that the internal storage is (generally) faster than SD card.

just finished a 1080p.DTS. 8GB with no issues.let me try to get one of their releases for test. what is the last working LE8 that worked for you?
I don't remember exactly, but i think no one of LE8 build worked perfectly for me.
The 7.0.3.12j was perfect.
The microstutter hard to see, because only one frameskipped over every x minute. When the skip is near static screen (no fast moving) the you cannot observe that.
also running latest version, could provide a sample of your file?
It happen every movie what i see. I tried with 23.97 and 24 fps movies, with or without subtitles.
I cannot give you sample, because the official sample to small (only 1 minute), and the movie is big.

New j version still stutter sometimes (about one frame every 3-4 minutes noticeable)

I relaxed late frame processing to avoid accidental frame deleting from decoder queue causing playback stuttering.
Fix in chapter skipping to avoid double seeking.

the same movie (23.97fps mkv) with same device (S905 minimx) and minix u1 008 Rom and with latest LE7 played perfectly.
I promise a log with stutter error.

Movie is 23.97 remux. The player switch to 23.97 perfectly but the playback isn't continous, i see a little stutter every 1-2 minute.
8.0.1g version isn't good enough.
