i tried https, was same on webdav.
but then I build master and it works fine. So if its too much to dig into I'll guess I can use wifi until le 10.
thanks

it cannot be a kodi issue, but rather a rpi4/linux thing since it works with wifi.
I will do some tests this weekend
hello! I use webdav(s) on my nas.
The problem is that rpi4 using wired eterhet have so much performance problems that bluray rips is unwatchable.
I have also tried with a usb-dongle with rj45 that doesnt work.
There is two workaround for me that strangly works, built in wifi or using samba.
I have reproduced this on two different networks with two different rpi4s, tried both netgear and unify switches, no difference.
I guess kodi logs wont help here since this doesnt seem to be a kodi issue. I see nothing strange in dmesg so don't know how to go further.
works:
rpi4 wifi: webdavs and samba
rpi4 wired: samba
doesnt work:
rpi4 wired: webdavs
thanks for any help
yes, setting it to <curllowspeedtime>0</curllowspeedtime> fixes the issue for me. thanks alot!!
hm, since this can be reproduced 100 % on libreelec both rpi and x86 but not on ubuntu or windows how can I continue investigate this?
any ideas at all?
ive gone through the le patches to kodi but it seems impossible they could affect this, so what else can I loot at? curl compile options?
im clueless
hello!
Using webdav or some plugins using normal https kodi will crash after a longer pause. I can reproduce this 100 % on both x86 and rpi4/3.
Weird thing is that it works on windows and on ubuntu 18 all using kodi 18.5.
As far as I remember this problem has been here since OpenELEC days.
Anyone has has idea?
logs and everything -> pause over a minute or so is not resumable using webdavs · Issue #17047 · xbmc/xbmc · GitHub
thanks in advance
hello! is it possible for you to support podcasts? It was just recently implemented in volumio, dont know if you use the same stuff but here is git pr. [Volspotconnect2] Update `vollibrespot` to `0.1.8` by ashthespy · Pull Request #247 · balbuze/volumio-plugins · GitHub
I thought binary addons could be updated now?
got libreelec-rpi2.arm-9.0-milhouse-20180930210347-#0930-g3a63f8a.tar working and there it works. so I guess this will solve itself in next alpha then.
thanks
I test the latest millhouse today but it wouldnt start at at all I get mysql error sql: can't disable sql_mode only_full_group_by and I dont get any further ![]()
edit: external .srt still works if that is any help
This could that it only doesnt work with webdav I dont know. Confirmed both on x86 and rpi3. This works fine on windows kodi18-beta3 and it worked always with LE 8.x

Just wanted to say that the driver currently in 9.0 is the first driver that has worked stable for me on 5ghz with my 8812au stick. Im using it now on 8.2 for several days without issues.
when you have cleared your addons get back please.
I use tls with mysql in libreelec and it works. Can you paste your kodi.log while trying to connect?
also check rights on your cert, think you need 600 or openssl wont use them
samba 3.6 supports only smb2 as a server, not as a client. for this 4.0+ is needed
