Wit last LE 8.2.5 on my MECOOL KI PRo is good dvb driver. On Coreelec i had working dvb driver on 8.95.5 release, but from 8.95.6 release is not working. I tried change also driver from original libreelec driver to last kernel driver. But bug is last update of coreelec in frame of dvb driver of KI PRO. Libreelec with kodi 17.6 is great !
I have CoreElec 8.95.6 and the dvb-s works, without any problem in the ki pro.

@niabi Recently they have released a core for reicast for arm in lakka.
-
Thank, On the weekend, I try them.
ok, I just tried and it works correctly on the beelink x2. What does not work is the wifi, since I have the revision with realtek.
-
Official Libreelec is only compatible with some devices with amlogic, such as odroid, wetek ...
-
I'll prepare image for that, but TV boxes are usually unsupported category here. Beelink X2 may be an exception, because it is supported by mainline kernel.
Thank, On the weekend, I try them.

I have a beelink x2 (http://linux-sunxi.org/beelink_x2), would it be possible to make an image for this?

Oh, didn't know about it! Seems like it doesn't do the trick, though From what I've been able to google, for my device (Nexbox A95X B7N 1G/8G), I should use the gxl_p212_1g dtb file. Tried both the gxl_p212_1g.dtb and gxl_p212_1g_nand.dtb files from the Kszaq website (I'm booting from memory card so I transferred one to the microSD and renamed to dtb.img, tried booting, then did the same with the other) but to no avail - still stuck at Nexbox's splash screen Why is that so?
Do you have s905 or S905x?
-
Have you updated the dtb? Because without that, it will not start.

Thanks, now I try it.
Edit: Not working wifi

I built some images from current Bootlin git. Totally untested

Would it be possible to compile one for the beelink x2?

The kernel that you use is based on the one of coreelec or kzasq?

I'm still using WP2 as the family daily-driver because I have no HDR media except for some test files and the S905D box I've been poking has the same weakness as the S905X; it has 100-BaseT ethernet which chokes on the full-size BR rips that I made. The WP2 might be "inferior" as the SoC has no HDR support but it has GB ethernet that handles the same files with ease, and I can't be arsed to transcode or re-rip all my media just because people design sh1t hardware. The next daily-use upgrade I make will probably be an Amlogic SBC that partners S905D2 with a GB NIC, or an equivalent RK board. The first manufacturer who gets to a mainline kernel and the next-generation video pipeline in Kodi will have my attention!
Are you saying that the mecool ki pro (S905D) does not really have gigabit?

I leave the photos of the box and I am sorry for not being able to send them to you before.
