can you try removing one mode from the whitelist and then save/OK, possible that the default whitelist we ship is used.

I will test your samples later.

    I removed all EXCEPT 1920 x 1080p 50 Hz from whitelist.

No good. Still the same 25fps on the 2 HD channels that have this behaviour.

I reverted back to my initial Whitelist as #291

    Update

PVR/1080i should work now, 576i not yet

    Rock64 / Tvheadend HTSP Client 4.3.6.2

I just tried this new image and got a pleasant surprise when 50 fps played in my first chosen HD channel.

I then tried another channel and 25 fps was all i could get on playback.

I tried another and i got 50 fps playback.

I tried another and 25 fps.

I have the issue where some 4 of my HD free to air channels are played at 50 fps and other 2 are still played at 25 fps.

I recorded 3 of the HD channels and uploaded them on link below. One plays at 50 fps and the other 2 (7HD , ABC HD)do not.

    MEGA

The one that plays 50 fps and the other that plays at 25 fps. (Both play 50 fps on my server box tx7 krypton)

    Here is a Rock64 image.

Thank you for making this image.

Reporting Black Screen when leaving box powered on and turning TV off.

When i turn TV Back on after a long time l have a Black Screen and no response from remote commands.

Does not happen if i turn off TV and then turn TV back on in a short time.

Leave box on overnight with TV off and it definitely will happen.

I disabled CEC in case that was the issue but it is not.

The previous black screen issue is FIXED in this image :)

Not usable with TVHeadend yet... SD content plays fine with HW acceleration, but HD content really struggles, and the device reboots itself after a couple of seconds.

Make sure you have updated client from repository.

I'm not having issues as serious as yours.

All SD channels play fine. Damn SD Channels Suddenly Don't Work At All.

I have no idea what happened today. I can't get a picture at all on SD Channels. Won't open. It looks like it has opened but no picture or sound. Pressing OK button once after choosing SD Channel Nothing. Pressing it a second time and a Black screen appears with OSD visible. Press "o" on remote and i can see Software decoding at work. No audio or video.

Gui sound is heard whilst moving through GUI menu . Choose stop and returns back to channels home screen.

HD channels sometimes start with Audio/Video BUT Audio drops out within 5 seconds and picture freezes.

I can see the AV Sync runs out of sync when that happens.

I stop stream restart and it works. The Deinterlace issue and 25fps is known issue so will wait for next build.

Everything else seems to be fine. No SD Movies open from my home media network. Just a spinning wheel . HD Movies open first shot.

Need more time to run it. Fixed all struck out lines above with this image update.

Again thanks to everyone involved in making images available.

All Live TV Channels SD/HD Via TVHeadend Client are played back at 25 FPS. I do not get a Refresh Rate Switch from 50Hz. but playback is 25 FPS according to Player process info.

Kwiboo I just noticed something important about behaviour in my quoted previous post.

When i first boot up my rock64 and play a live tv channel i get a 50 fps for about 3 seconds and then a refresh change on my tv still 50hz but 25 fps playback. If i stop playback and start again i get no refresh rate switch or any change in 25 fps . Always 25 fps until i reboot and that one only switch from 50 fps to 25 fps occurs.

Note : When i playback recorded TV i get 50 fps at 50 HZ for about 3 seconds and a refresh rate switch on TV to 25 fps still 50 hz every time.

I used codec info before the switch happens to identify this behaviour.

    My GUI is set to 1920 x 1080p 50hz.

Tv set is switching to [email protected] if the signal is in general should be interlaced at 50hz 1080 signal.

All Live TV Channels SD/HD Via TVHeadend Client are played back at 25 FPS. I do not get a Refresh Rate Switch from 50Hz. but playback is 25 FPS according to Player process info. Fast motion sport is very ordinary. Previously supplied logs.:)

Edit : This is the same 25 FPS 1920 x 1080p and 720 x 576p using Android TV Kodi 17.6. TV Headend Client

Bug using Corsair 64gb USB Flash Drive (NTFS) inserted into USB3 Port Rock64.

Insert USB Flash Drive (usb3 spec) into USB2 Port and Playback is Fine.

If you have the debug overlay visible please disable debugging in settings and add debugging to /flash/extlinux/extlinux.conf after console=tty0 (console=tty0 debugging), this will enable debug logging and not cause unnecessary GPU usage (showing debug osd) that could otherwise interfere with video playback

I've still got this this boot config file i changed #156

Not sure if this is a good thing to have permanently enabled ?

Haven't seen a reply to below quote ?

Kodi debug without the GUI overlay and without needing to fiddle with boot config which enables debug for the entire OS.
