For those interested, I uploaded a first preview 8.2 build with Nougat kernel: [Testing] LibreELEC 8.2 for S905/S905X

    kszaq

Excellent results. "SMB" Fixed all my issues from previous post. All pretty good with testing so far.

The only thing i noticed is on some of the live TV Streams on a couple of Greek Channels ,

Krypton seems to not pause and Buffer and then resume perfect Playback then pause buffer on the channels with slow servers at peak times.

Not an issue as these 2 channels just pause and buffer continuously using jarvis so not worth worrying about.

It's just that Krypton kind of freezes and resumes at a crawl or just freezes without a buffer notification or wheel.

All in all very good results.:)

I too use DVB-T in Australia (Perth) - quite a lot actually.

For me TvHeadend v4.0.9 & v4.2 works with both the tuner in the WeTek Play2 and the PS3 Dual DVB-T Tuner.

I bet you are in Victoria - where for some reason people have been having LibreELEC DVB-T issues.

    Correct.

Even worse for me i get a Retransmission from Como Tower in Melbourne.

have access to one 7MHz DVB-T mux and it doesn't work with the driver we have.

Hopefully it is the Driver. afl1 is away so wait and see.

    Thanks for the info wrxtasy

I thought i was the only one with issues in Victoria ,Melbourne.

Have you checked the bandwidth setting? I believe Australia uses a 7Mhz bandwidth.

I have access to one 7MHz DVB-T mux and it doesn't work with the driver we have.

Correct. The table above is a Transmitter in Melbourne which i don't access as i get a Retransmission from the Muxes i

    supplied #3,765 .

    But yes 7Mhz is correct.

So the Driver must be an issue as i know the Muxes are in the Pre Defined Muxes as i saw them in the log.

Thank you for responses as i have given up for the time being. It drove me mad.:cursing:

    1. He asks if anyone's tried the box (post #73).

    No response.

I responded 2 hours after he first posted.

No point asking members about any MiniM8sPro s905 or any MiniM8s on page #1 as these boxes are all different depending on the date purchased as to what the hell is inside the Generic plastic case or who on Flebay or scAmazon gets the box from. #79

Have any of you good people had experience of this little box?

Superview ® Mini M8S Pro T95N Google Android 6.0 TV Box 2GB 8GB 4K Amlogic S905 Quad Core with WiFi HDMI DLNA

    It looks like it'll work.

I guarantee you it will not be an S905 Chip as advertised.

It will be a S905X Chip.

You better hope the Wifi Chip is not a 9082xs or SSV6051

If it is , NO WIFI.I've got the box, and tried one Libreelec build and found no wifi. It's working on Android. How do I confirm what chip it has?

Another member BUM STEERED by this Thread.

I'd like to stop this thread. If you want a hardware listing it should be in a maintained wiki page not a forum thread that very quickly becomes 20+ pages and hard to follow. I would also ask you to refrain from using the terms "to buy" and "not to buy" as forum rules ask you not to promote commercial products

If I'm Hijacking this thread, it's done to help members who stumbled here.

It would be great to have an option to insert or not insert signature when posting.

It would save a lot of space taken up by signatures inserted when they are not required.

Example being replying to help a member does not require my signature and so on.

I believe Signatures should be mandatory but an option to insert when posting.:?:

You have to verify preconfigured muxes.

I have spent a few hours in the last few days getting my head around how this works.

Lots of Google Searching. Went round in circles trying to find more details on the changes i have to make in verifying the Muxes.

I am in an area where the transmitter is a retransmission and the only details i can find so far are the one's below.

I know there are only six Muxes and i believe the preconfigured AU with 100 Muxes has the frequencies i am after BUT i believe they need to be configured even more in the settings for linux to convert into service.

I know that in the Background i see full signal during scanning so i know the channels are being found but no information.

In Australia it is DVB-T no DVB-T2

    Service Network Freq(MHz) Channel Polarisation

    ABC ABC 634.5 MHz 43 V

    SBS SBS 613.5 MHz 40 V

    HSV Seven 620.5 MHz 41 V

    GTV Nine 641.5 MHz 44 V

    ATV Ten 648.5 MHz 45 V

    MGV Commtv 627.5 MHz 42 V

I will have to dig deeper and get more info outside of the frequencies.

It looks like remote.conf from Android firmware doesn't work with amremote driver

Not a problem. One thing i must ask, If the correct remote.conf file is replaced to the root of the SD Card whilst using SD Card LE,

Will the correct remote be installed when installtointernal command to install to nand. ?

Unfortunately I cannot provide support for DVB driver

No problem. I saw the changelog and mentioned it. I have never gone down the TV / PVR options with Kodi.

I've gone in head first to learn how it works.

    I don't have 4K , UHD, 3D, HDR , VP9 or whatever so i plunged into the K1 Pro for the Tuner.

Really good when i got some services working. Picture is better than the Android which has Audio/Video sync issues.
