Thanks for this appendizitis. This box looks really cute have to order one, just to have it. Is there a built in IR Receiver or do i need an external Receiver with jack cable?

chewitt Thanks again! After 3 non working dongles, i've found a 4th one, which works. Thanks for support!
-
Thank you chewitt . So i'll search for other Dongles, i'm sure there are at least 2 more somewhere in our house.
If i'll find one who works, is there a pop up like if i connect a usb memory or how will i see the dongle?

Fisrt, sorry for my english! I gave a Beelink Mini MXII II 905X (running newest LE Version) to a friend and he like to watch movies on his balconi. Unfortunately his Wifi is critical and i wanted to ask if its possible to connect a USB Wifi Dongle to the Beelink and use it for Wifi. I tried with an old Fritz Stick, but i could just connect the internal Wifi of the Beelink and couldn't see any change in network or hardware on the gui.

You could try to install the apk manual from the kodi webside. it's not libreelec, but you would have kodi 17.

I read her in the faq's, that some problems come from Android and have to be solved from the manufacturer. So is it better to update android first before install LE?
I nver had some problems with several Beelink S905/S905X Boxes, just wanted to know. -
Slaytanic This would need adding a code to detect whether the box booted from internal memory or external... and I can see no point in removing it when system is booted from internal because you need it anyway: if you have second LE on SD card for testing (e.g. Krypton), you may still want to reboot from internal.you're absolutely right. it's just a "cosmetic thing" and i gave some player to non technical frieds and parents and they ask me what this point means, so thats why i wanted to remove.
-
Is it possible to remove the "reboot from nand option" from the power menu? It's just cosmetics, but would be nice to remove it if libreelc is installed on nand.
I googled for this and found something about customizing this menu, but i can not find the DialogButtonMenu.xml on my libreelec with confluence. -
Correct. I have seen confusion with these boxes. I have no idea what to call my box as others call them Beelink MiniMx g because of the 2g/16g. I think naming the Beelink box would eliminate the confusion with these boxes. Not using Beelink for the un branded box is also a good idea. I pointed to the Device trees from 14th October. Dev. (device_trees) as i wasn't sure of the box.
I also don't understand why he didn't do that.Because i didn't realize that's a problem of these devictree from 007, sorry. sometimes it's hard to understand every detail in english :s
But now i have 009 on sd card running with a fresh install on my branded beelink.
Thanks again for your great support here and sorry for thr beginner questions -
Hi,I tried to boot my TX3 Pro (s905x) with an USB flash drive with LE flashed on it, but it wont boot. Normally i would use an SD card, but i didnt had any left.
I tried the different options (toothpick, other USB port, boot to recovery etc.), is it possible that my box will only boot LE from an SD card?ps. will u-boot help?
Regards,
WimDo you have more than 1 USB on your box? I guess i read sometime, that these boxes can boot just from one of them.

I flashed back to stock android without this (very) special cable. i have 2 SD cards, one to boot into recovery, then i changed the SD card with the Original FW and choosed update from sd card.
Maybe easier if you have some old sd cards, than to find this cable. -
Thanks guys. I have the branded beelink.
I putted the recovery file and the devictree from beeelink on SD card and the box booted into recocery mode, then i did the update from sd card with LE Version 007. now the Box works again with LE 007 from NAND. -
Thank you. I can't see the box on the network and i allready tried a fresh install, but i guess because the NAND install the box tries to boot from the Nad and there is my corrupt devicetree, so i'm in kind of a boot loop.

device_trees
You got the tree from above link ?
Your device is ?
Your Chip Is ? S905 OR S905X
- If you have a device with non-standard partition layout and have LE installed to internal memory, you have to perform a clean install.
Yes that's the link i've dowmloaded the tree
My device is Beelink Mini MXIII with the S905
Thanks, i haven't really read this..Do you think there is a way to get the box work again ?
