I installed Kodi RC4 in windows and ran TVHEADEND from a LE8 backend, |Good channel switching regardless of settings. So seems to be a LE9 issue or a LE(-TVHbackend issue, will keep investigating

Wow, thanks for the speedy response
yep I tried both always and on start stop, It is working perfectly on 8, set to always or start stop but on 9, very slow channel switching.
I have and advanced settings in 8, would that be effecting 9 or just not working,?
Would the minimise colours in the system settings have any effect, it was off in 8 but defaulted to on in 9?
Thanks again

Hi, I tried again, with the above white listed and |GUI st to 50hz, managed to get decent channel changes between standard definition channels but slow between HD channels or from SD to HD.
Thanks again for your help

Hi, channel changes are very slow on the new Beta. It seems to show the art before the tv image that seems to slow it down
Using normal TVHEADEND on intel nuc 3150
I have added the whitelist resolutions and frequencies, any other suggestions?

Hi
Just querying what would work better and be more stable, Install a combined TVHEAEDEND front end/ back end on apollo lake NUC with 8g ram - record to SSD drive - running Libreelec- will watch telly on the front end, / Or install tvheadend on a RPI2 as a dedicated backend,
I current have the backend / front end intalled on the NUC as to minimise network traffic, but will a seperate backend by more stable? thoughts, impacts on channel switching etc
Thanks

Hi.. thanks for your response..sorry I am using the dual boot method with the libreelec data being on the emmc..neer an SD card to boot to libreelec..this is working well..however when I remove the sd card..it boots to Minix android about 30 percent of the time..the other time it.jist stalls on a black screen..mthe Minix logo doesn't even come up?

Hi guys, since installing to internal EMMC, my box mostly wont boot up android with the external SD card is removed, the "minix" sign never comes up, just a sign from the TV telling me the resolution and frequency, after about 6 reboots it worked, any ideas...note, with the SD card in, it boots up LIBREELEC all the time
Thanks

Hi guys, can I just confirm, that once this is done, Libreelec only boots from the SD card, all operation are run on the emmc. Basically i want to confirm that I can use a small and slow SD card and it wont affect performance.
Thanks
