I don't have enough space available to backup locally. Is there some way to point the backup to a network destination?

After installing the latest update (8.2.0) I can no longer hear sounds while navigating menus. TVTunes is most effected by this. If I turn the volume to max I can just barely hear the theme playing so I know it’s working. How Can I incease the volume in Kodi?

That's going to upgrade to the latest version of OpenElec not LibreElec and not Kodi (since the latest version of OE uses kodi 17.3 IIRC).

I don't use the OE builds but I believe that none of that is required anymore. With LE minor version bumps are installed automatically.

You were right. Found the version check addon. Don't think I'll have a need for it in the LE build.

Is there an update notification setting in Kodi? Cant remember, but maybe I need to track it down and disable it?

I keep getting notifications that I'm using Kodi 17.3 and that 17.4 is available. I've got LE 8.0.2 set to update automatically but it doesn't seem to be working. Or maybe I'm missing something? How do I install the update for 17.4?

I admit I'm not very familiar with Estuary, but I went through the skin settings and don't see any option to enable/disable intro videos. Where is this setting?

Just from watching the screen it looks like the intro video plays completely and then kodi freezes when trying to exit the player. Screen is frozen on what looks like the last frame of the video.

Actually, I prefer Plex for streaming to my smart devices. Especially if I'm connecting over WAN.

Watching videos via a VNC connection is totally killing all video hardware acceleration.

No. Not trying to watch videos over VNC. This is just needed for adjusting settings without having to tie up the living room tv for extended periods and listen to a bunch of "are you done yet".

The tearing doesn't really prevent that but it's very annoying waiting for it to settle down every time the image changes. Was hoping I could get VNC working a little better.

I figured that was probably the case. I'm using whatever the official image is that LE hosts.

Now I need to figure out how to stop all the video tearing? Tried different compression settings at random but it didn't seem to make much difference. Screenshot attached.

If I enable "intro video" in kodi my LE box freezes on startup and I have to do a hard reset to recover. Perhaps this is a known issue but I couldn't find any discussion in my forum searchs.

Update-

Found what I think must be a self generated password in .kodi/addons/service.tigervnc/config/passwd but that doesn't work either. Just getting "Authentication failed".

I'm trying to get TigerVNC working but when I try to connect from another machine I'm prompted for a password. There isn't any password setting in the addon configuration. Not sure what I'm supposed to enter for the password?
