Do you have a solution for post: RE: Odroid-C2 discussion

Update:
I just can not get it to work.
In LibreElec you can find the CEC settings here:
Click the GEAR icon -> System -> Input -> Peripherals -> CEC Adapter
Note: in BASIC modus it does not work therfore choose STANDARD, ADVANCE or EXPERT mode !

I have the issue that the Odroid C2 does not wake up when powering on the TV.
Someone else had this issue too: Odroid-C2 wake up via HDMI CEC
When I was using CoreElec it did that standard, when I power on my TV the Odroid C2 started up as well.
Would be nice to have such feature in the settings.
Is there any workaround to achieve this ?

I have identical issue.
With CoreElec the Odroid C2 did turn on automatically when I powered up the TV.
Is there a way to do this via some CEC settings ?

Direct updates are not supported. You need to follow a backup > clean install > partial restore process.
Take a backup of essential things: sources.xml, advancedsettings.xml, add-on settings and DB files from Kodi. Download the latest nightly from https://test.libreelec.tv/11.0/Amlogic/odroid-c2/ then create a new SD card or reimage the emmc module. Then boot, stop Kodi, move the essential things you backed-up to where they need to be. Restart Kodi and start reinstalling add-ons.
Thanks for the help !
So first I need to backup these files: sources.xml, advancedsettings.xml, add-on settings and DB files from Kodi.
Can you tell where to find those add-on and DB settings, I guess in certain folders ?Once the new LibreELEC installation is running then stop Kodi via SSH with this command: systemctl stop kodi
Is this the correct procedure ?

Can someone tell me if it is possible to upgrade CoreELEC to LibreELEC Nexus latest build ?
If yes, how can this be done:
1. Via the menu Custom Channels
2. Via a update or installation file placed in the folder /storage/.update
3. Via flashing eMMC
4. Other way ?
5. Not possible !
Thanks in advance.

If I try to install a addon they just do not want to install, always in the right upper corner the message about:
scrip script.module.addon.common
Can not be installed or something, it's stays there not long enough to read the whole thing. (seems to be incompability issue between Python 2 / 3)

I have a HDMI Audio splitter but it's verry anoying because it does not (like almost all splitters) support CEC-Passthrough.
So no TV remote you can use anymore only the app on your phone.
So does AC3 have more data rate compared to DTS ?

Is there any step-by-step tutorial on how to compile addons ?
Not all of us have programming skills.

Hi,
I'm testing a H3 Nightly test build but still no working addon.
Where can be working addons found, please share.
Thanks.

Not at the moment.
At the KODI forum they redirect me to HifiBerry forum but no reatinon there.
But I have read there some comparable issues and they redirect to the KODI forum.and there they say go to KODI forum.Seems like ping-pong to me.
I don't think it's a HifiBerry problem as the data is only being passed through without processing.

Hi to all,
I just can't get Dolby Digital AC3 5.1 to work on a RPi4 with HifiBerry DIGI+ HAT.
DTS 5.1 does work perfect also just 2 channels Stereo does work nicely, only AC3 does not work.
Any advice is welcome!
