Thanks, yeah it's videos from youtube where I'd need it. I think I'll hold out for a bit and see how things go. Sounds like a great device otherwise.

I've gone back to 8.90.4 too, it's a pretty solid build for me. Adamg mentioned that downgrading is not possible due to the new partitions so it might be essential to do a fresh install, and if you're installed to internal it may well break everything but I've uploaded it to dropbox anyway Dropbox - LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.90.4.img.gz (use at your own risk, etc. etc.)

I just checked and it doesn't appear to, although it's a little hard to tell as my eyes start playing tricks on me once I start staring at things :p. My first thoughts were maybe something to do with deinterlacing but it's also doing it on progressive videos.

Your post just now made me think of some kind of anti-burn-in done by the TV but I don't think it is that as it's never done it before and I've only started noticing it on 8.90.6. Most of the time it's not noticeable it's just when I'm watching something with a static camera, like in a TV studio I notice the picture shifting around.

I mentioned this in the other thread before it was closed but has anyone else experienced the picture shifting a pixel or so left and right constantly with 8.90.6? It's really noticeable on any video with static vertical lines. I thought it was just with DVB stuff but I've noticed it on other videos too now.

No it's not the the refresh rate change thing, it lasts a bit longer than that.

Just watching a bit of Live TV (BBC Breakfast on BBC1 HD on Freeview) and it seems ok so far, although the picture does appear to be shifting a pixel or so left or right every so often, noticeable on static backgrounds. But I have no idea if it was doing that before the new kernel, or if it's something broadcaster is doing.

I've not actually watched Live TV with it yet. I'll keep an eye out for that. I've not noticed any artefacts/black screens during playback, just a brief black screen at the start of videos, and not on all of them.

With 8.90.6, on some videos, I'll get a black screen for a few seconds at the start of playback, then it sorts itself out and then after that is fine. It's not a huge issue.

I'm getting a lot of reboots with 8.90.5. Seems to happen most when stopping playback but not exclusively.

I gave it a go and it worked. It needed "installtointernal" to be run twice and the when it rebooted the device seemed to turn off rather than rebooting but other than that it installed and is running. Seems to be struggling a bit with 4k and 60fps video files though, not sure if that is related to the new kernel or something else, they played on the older releases.

This is probably a stupid question so apologies in advance. I have a KI Pro and its website says it has "eMMC" does that mean it doesn't have NAND and will work with the new build installed to internal?

Crazycat isn't working for me either, my Xbox One DVB adapter isn't being detected with this build.

edit: Manually installing from Index of /addons/9.0/S905/arm/driver.dvb.crazycat fixes it for me.

Is there an updated driver.dvb.crazycat available? I can't see it in the repository, thanks.

Thanks, that versions is working for me. There must be something about 4.3 that my setup doesn't like.

Just following up from my post about TVHeadend 4.3 from [8.0.2c] LibreELEC 8.0 builds for KI Plus / KII Pro / KI Pro

I've reinstalled using Raybuntu's build of 4.2 from Index of /addons/9.0.6/S905/arm/service.tvheadend42/ and all my channels can be found again so the issue I'm having seems to be coming from TVH4.3. Is it possible for a 4.2 build to be made available on the LE repo for the time being? I don't know how widespread an issue it is, if it's just affecting a few of us maybe just worth sticking with Raybuntu's build.

I've found similar too, TVH seems to have found my missing channels but only shows them if I change the "hide" drop down menu from "Parent disabled" to "none" in the Services tab, however it doesn't allow me to map the channels that are hidden. Thankfully in my case the channels that are hidden aren't anything I watch so I haven't put much effort into solving it.

edit: Looks like this (Help mapping services to channels on Tvheadend 4.3 - Tvheadend) is the same issue I'm having, so maybe an issue with 4.3 as he seems to have solved it going back to 4.2.

Is it possible to delay the auto update until addons are compiled? Then if anyone wants to try the latest version they can manually, otherwise if you restart your box, it updates and all the addons are broken. If not possible no worries, I'm very appreciative on everyone working on this project.
