Thanks the latest (I thought I had it) fixed my wifi issue.

Hi All,
I have a MXQ Pro 4K S905X 1gb box that I cannot see the wifi listed in the LE settings.
On the current latest build I have tried all the 1gb device trees.
I also tried build 8.1.7 with all the 1gb device trees following this thread [Test] SSV6051 drivers but the box will not boot.
I don't know what wifi driver it has so maybe its a new one??
Any ideas?

I think yo are having a wifI hardware Issue. I have resolved my issue by using a usb wifi dongle. Now it connects every time without issue.

Yes that's version 17.3 indeed. I got it here:
It's the S812 LAN1000 .tar in there that I'm using and it is flawless.
I just have the Minix in an inaccessible place, leaving it always an. A 10m long optical SPDIF wire goes through the DAC in my bedroom so it is running my bedside rig. Since no HDMI connected anyhow, there's no need to suspend. The Minix with only optical connected is hardly using any power even if always left on.

I'm actually not sure if it is that build. Something tells me it was the June version but it is no longer on-line.
If the mentioned version doesn't work for you, just PM me and I'll send it to you.
With that version im getting no wifi.

I have a M8S 2gb box and can't seem to get LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.1-M8S.img to boot from a USB. Is there something i need to do or is there another image I can try??

Does your version have a boot logo at boot and if you do power off can you just press the power button on the side to boot or do you have to remove power first?

Thanks a lot for checking. That unfortunately means that I'll stick to the version that I have today. It is the LAN1000 version from balbes150 that dates from April this year. The only build ever that boots without HDMI and has web services come up allowing remote control. It makes the perfect audio streamer for the price- I have compared with expensive streamers (NAD, Auralic and the likes) and the quality of the Minix with this build comes so close it is scary.
Kodi Music Remote is really great by the way for those looking for a high quality audio streamer for only a small investment.

Could you link to the img.gz or .tar that you used I couldnt find it when I looked.

It does not. I've just tried and it it NOT comIng up on my system. Although oddly if I just plug the HDMI into the Box with the other end open it brings up LIBREELEC in Samba but I can't connect to it.

Sorry to butt in but I have a similar issue. I read in here that samba has changed from SMB 1 to SMB 2. I used to me able to see my Libreelec devices from my Window 7 PC. I can no longer see them on my network although I am able to connect to the Chorus remote.
I have tried enabling 1 and 2 using regedit but am not sure really what I need to do.
Any help anyone?

No I didnt want android anyway. I tried using the guide already posted but could not get it to work.

Yes both wifi 5g and 2.4g and LAN work. Only issues are no boot logo at startup and no power on from remote. Another thing missing that would be great is suspend. This was an option in OE 6.0.1 but missing here.

Demetris Suspend works fine for me on the last OE build for the x8h plus.
