Just received the Himedia A5 S912 Octa-Core and i am very impressed with it so far most the issue i had with the Minix U9 works much better on the Himedia A5.

run ethtool eth0 via ssh and look if duplex & speed are OK

Should be:

Speed: 1000Mb/s

Duplex: Full

Well is sounds like only NFS share is supported with this device,

Attaching a Hard drive the player is not a solution, most of the people use SMB share, i have not issue playing from other players should be the same with this one.

Is there a way mount the Network Drive ?

There should be a solution to this issue.

Welcome to my nightmare..

Using Leia Build on my Minix U9 S912 and movies and even the browser menu looks very dark compare to my Nvidia Sheild.

Having the same issue with Minix U9-H but in my case i am using wired network, when i disable the Audio pass-through, 4k video plays fine without any issue.

I am scratching my head since the device is 1G speed, i am also using SMB share from LibreElec.

Any Help?

Just purchase the Minix Neo UH9 and i can figure out how to get the PLAY ; PAUSE : STOP :INFO and CONTEXT MENU to work, can anyone help me with that?

Need a device than can handle heavy Skins like Aeon MQ.
