The media info for movies in iso files was being collected upon first playback.
That does not work anymore since the last update (or the one before?).
Can this be fixed please?
It still works fine in the Windows version of Kodi. But not in LE (Raspberry Pi) .
Many thanks.
Update: Seems to be a general Kodi issue.
I have posted a bug report in the Kodi forum.

Can anyone confirm or is it just me?

Even if nobody is interested in media flags can abybody just tell me whether I can just downgrade to the previous version?
-
I am not so sure how this would be connected but I had no problems so far generating the usual media flags for my iso files.
They normally appear after you once played the video within the iso image. Codecs, audio channels, etc.
Now after the update they don't. Have restarted, nothing.
I would try to downgrade if possible to be sure that it is connected to the new version, but I don't now if that is possible without causing problems.
I am on RPi4.Under Windows I still get the flags.

There is actually only one error msg 3 times/s saying
2019-07-26 16:20:07.242 T:2663801712 ERROR: CCurlFile::Open failed with code 0 for http://192.168.0.91:80/web/currenttime:

where 192.168.0.91 is my pvr

can you see something here?

or is it just normal?
With the hot weather at the moment Kodi is idleing around 75 to 80 degrees. And over 80 degrees when being in use.
When I start top via ssh it sometimes shows kodi.bin with 318% cpu consumption.
This is obviously wrong.
What's behind that and how can it be analyzed?

I did already
What a sneaky little rogue

Seems at least libbluray 1.1.2 is needed for this? Currently 1.0.2 is used.
So then, let's go

It is strange. I have a 2-part-disc movie on two seperat iso files. bla.disc1.iso and bla.disc2.iso.
If I try to play the movie, no matter if I choose play main title or show bluray menu from the mini menu, LE will crash.
But if I go to filemanager view and play any of the iso's from there it would play. No matter if I choose play main title or show bluray menu from the mini menu.
So the problem seems to be happening only within the library and only with disc images.
Two separate mkv files would play correctly. Also if I scrape the discs seperately into the library everything is OK. They are playable.
So the problem seems to be that they are bound as two discs for one film.
like here https://kodi.wiki/view/naming_video_files/movies#split_video_files
I can post a crashlog, but has anybody ever heard of such a problem?
This does not happen under Windows, only in LE.

For me Idle means Kodi.bin using around 40% CPU and temp is around 66 degrees.

Install the latest firmware and it gets a bit better. Maybe 3 or 4 degrees.

I mean the one Eben Upton was talking about. The one he gave to CNX and addresses the heating problem.

Where would we get the new firmware that's about to be released in a couple of days?

Another thing that happens with enigma client addon: If I play a TV channel and then press Stop, I wont be able to navigate the UI anymore. I can still summon the power menu and from there reboot. But that's it.
Update: Not Raspi4 related. Skin related

Having issues with BluetoothHD. It happens that it consumes 100% CPU. Using a keyboard sometimes. Even after putting that away this problem can occur after a while.
Have to kill the process and then it won't appear again as long as no BT device is connected. Difficult to reproduce though.
