Could you please test one Live TV for longer time period ? For me 8.2.2.2 indeed fixed the short-time period Live TV playback. But after hour-two or so on one HD channel the video goes mad. FPS dropdown, decoding artefacts. If I switch the channel, it is good again for some time.

Yesterday I watched some live TV channels for 3 or 4 hours.
No stuttering or other issues detected.
Last 8.2.2.2 version solves the live tv/ip tv stuttering on all my generic s905x boxes.

In my case disabling or changing to 50 or 59 the fallback option in the settings didn't solve the problem in previous versions.
Tonight I'll update to 8.2.2.2 and I'll tell you about it.

As I see in log pvr.dvblink didn't send fps. In release 8.1.9 was removed pts based frame rate tracking. You can fix it by setting frame rate fallback in pvr settings or you can use my test build with fix for 0 fps.

I reinstalled the version of this thread and the problem has gone.

due to special circumstances with the DVB-Sticks I am using, I had to manually install this TvHeadend version (see the discussion about it here). I am running 8.2.2.1 and I have no issues with LiveTV. So I suggest:
a) first update to 8.2.2.1 (should happen automatically, if you did not set the update policy to manual)
b) if you still experience stuttering, try exchanging tvHeadend and try again

I use an PVR addon called Movistar iPTV.
With new version it works but with stuttering. With detailed previos it works fine...

I have upgraded to version 8.2.2.1 and when playing live IP TV it’s stuttering a lot.
I tried setting frame rate fallback in PVR settings to none, 50 or 59 but problem persists.
Using the version on this post the problem disappears: Live-TV stuttering since 8.1.9
I'm using it on 3 generic S905X 2GB/16GB boxes.
Wired connections.

There was a fix in 7.0.2 which fixed a key mapping issue and now it works fine for me.
I'm on 7.02. But isn't working... 
Tested on OS X and works partially with Kodi 16.1. (only 3.0 USB on Mac).
Basic keys working (up, down, right, left, ok) no other.
4 USB ports on Gigabyte Brix but all 3.0 no 2.0... tested on all USB ports...
