I can confirm it works fine in terms of connectivity..the USB dongle was picked just fine and connection was made.

Side note:

Does Samba has an issue...i am trying to browse the network and it returns blank..i even lowered SMB to ver1 but no chance.

I tried to add the Network location by hand but no go "Software caused abort"

Any ideas on this.

So driver works, it just can't find proper firmware. I check what FW is needed. In the mean time, do you have another dongle to try?

I have being using LE8 on my NexBox A5 but recently my remote control is starting to show signs of "about to die"

For some reason a connection for the batteries is not very good...i scratch it a bit (or maybe because is fiddling with it) and the remote again is working (else no signal is trasmitted)

I have 2 remote controls , one from an old AMlogic M8(rounded) and one from a Beelink X2 ...any chance i could them speak to my A5 ?

1.So its better to keep it on my SD card...its not recommended because there is chance of bricking it or because of something else....

2. Exactly what i am going to gain by using a device tree....from what i read its a something like an instruction list for hardware...but other than that nothing....i have a NexBox A5(2G/16G) if this is helpful

You cannot install it, it would need to be compiled from source and packaged as an add-on. I'm sure that's possible as Oolite already runs on a broad range of Linux distros but it's a task that would need to be done by the community. It won't be on the roadmap for official development.

Hi to everybody...

I consider myself a happy new member as my Nexbox A5 proved to be "stupid" to say the least (not keeping settings,could not install anything from Play Store)

I had this bizzare idea of along with Kodi being able to play when you just can't decide what to see...

So since i am an old fan of Elite (over 30 years ) i would like to ask if it would be possible to install Oolite ...and play some epic space battles ....:)

What do you think...is it viable...

To mods: if its too stupid or irrelevant feel free to delete it....just a silly idea
