People having issues with audio:
- have you seen "Updating device tree from device tree name" on update screen?
- can you try manually replacing device tree if you run from SD card?
Correct, is failing the cp from "Updating device tree from device tree name"

Hi
Same error than other people. No sound after update from .update/ folder.
Works fine after replace the dtb
During the update I see one msg related to busybox and cp comand... maybe and error. I don't know how get a log of that error.
kszaq ping me if I can help with some testing.
Hi!
My S905x device cause interferences over the TV signal. The HDMI cable has good quality but probably the Android device not.
This made difficult see the TV when the S905x in on.
Also I use the S905x for other tasks that consume resources and not needs kodi to works (a daemon running on background).
Currently my using this script:
systemctl stop kodi
systemctl stop kodi-cleanlogs.service
systemctl stop kodi.target
systemctl stop graphical.target
systemctl stop pulseaudio.service
Hows fine and my TV signal now is much better, but not perfect, I can see some channels with bad signal.
Any other services that I can stop?
How can I disable the HDMI output?
Correct. I understand that libreelec does not mean to include X & WM since they are very big in size and LE is for kodi specificly. But if we set these options. Do they compile and work for S905, if anyone has tried?
I think that nobody has tried to compile X11 for ARM systems on libreelec/openelec, too many dependencies, maybe a different kernel, ect... and no benefits to normal users that need just enough OS for Kodi.
If you are interested in a full Debian system with X11 server, try this.
In project folder options script there is X11 and fluxbox selections. There is X11folder in packages folder. Are these options supported in S905 (kszaq) or RPI projects? Thanks.
Hi!
I think that you are talking about this file:
LibreELEC.tv/options at libreelec-7.0 · kszaq/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub
xorg is usually avoided on LibreELEC builds. Is used on generic and virtual projects.

Ciao, I've tested your build, but wifi is not working: exact same result...
What do you change/add in this test build?
Can I send you some logs?Thank you very much for your help!
Based on your logs.. I have no idea about the error.
I just have added the brcmap6xxx-aml drivers and wlan-firmware-aml from the upstream project, that not are part of the kszaq builds, but without know if this is or not the real problem.
Maybe kszaq can point me to the correct direction
Thanks a lot,CGarces!!
Can I update or do I need to burn the image from scratch?Ciao
Luca
It's a experimental and untested build.
You can update from other installation (not from the ones from kodi 17!), but I think that is better use a new SD card or USB and keep your current installation.
Here you can find dmesg from Android: [ 0.000000@0] Initializing cgroup subsys cpu [ 0.000000@0] Initializing c - Pastebin.com
Thank you!
Can you please test this build?

As we are already reached the weekend, i'll stick to 2nd option Will you use sources from krypton nightly on it?
(If there is a good tutorial how to compile my own le build and the mentioned bind-mounting, let me know anyways, i'm always willing to learn something new)
Hi!
Tutorial that you must read...

Yesterday I've received my first android tv box, Mini M8S II.
I've installed latest developement build (2016-10-28) with gxl_p212_2g device tree on a microsd card and I'm very satisfied.
Only problem I'm having is wifi not working. In libreelec settings wifi is active, but i cannot find ani ssid, and only cable network is working.
Hi Luca.
The 1º step is identify the WIFI chip used.
Try to use adb over android and updoad the dmesg to pastebin or similar service, do the same with Libreelec.
Also paste the result of lsmod at LE to check the modules that are loaded.
My builds don't use LIRC for IR, they use amremote. Recently LE master has switched to LIRC for the WeTek Hub, you can have a look - it needs changes in build system and device tree.I'm afraid my builds will keep using amremote instead of LIRC until I find time to write a utility to translate remote.conf to LIRC config. Or someone does it for us.
Example:
- remote.conf for the Hub: LibreELEC.tv/remote.conf at master · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub
- lirc conf for the Hub: lircd.conf.amremote
I have no idea how one translates to another.
I'll made a PR tomorrow, just for your reference.
Looks easy to implement but will be useless for normal users, but if works for me and my remote is fine. If you found some info about the translation from remote.conf to LIRC config ping me.
Hi
I want to use the Samsung TV remote on my S905x device.
The TV not support CEC so I need to deal with LIRC
On my RPi was very easy, just add a TSOP to GPIO and pick a similar remote from Index of /remotes/samsung amd map some additional buttons.
But on S905X I don't know how do that. Android remote.conf file look very different than lirc.conf files (maybe due Amlogic IR module).
Any HOW_TO about how use lirc.conf files with Amlogic IR?
Hi. Who can answer for my question? I am using nexbox a95x s905x. I installed LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.2.007.zip from TWRP recovery to internal memory. That means i havent got Android now...
Almost all works good, but the original remote is not working at all. Does anyone have this issue?
Update to the last devel delevop version, contains the fix for the remote.

Hi,
I tried.
First time was the MiniMX very bad playce, with slow wifi
Then with the new dtb makes 4.19-5.13 Mbit, and with the old 3.19-4.35, but im not 100%, because the speed always changed. And later speeded up both.
When good places were the MiniMX (only 1 wall, and 2m) , then both dtb file resulted 40-45 mbit.
I compared the files later, the 2 dtb file is identical
So i testing 2 hours long the 2 identical dtb file
Just to clarify. You have 3 dtb.
Which files are the same?
Has anyone else had issues with wifi needing to be reconnected everytime you restart the box?It only happens on my mosfeel box and is a bit annoying
Post logs to check the issue.
Is that to say you would recommend the Odroid C2 and Wetek Hub?
If you are looking for official support the options (based on last alpha version of LE) are:
