An Amazon Fire TV Cube (2nd or 3rd Gen) supports my audiophile obsession just fine. I subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited through my Prime account for $8 a month. The cube supports 24bit, 192kHz. Amazon has both HD and UHD Audio files ready for streaming. I use Pandora and Spotify (free accounts) to discover new music and then add the highest quality files using Amazon Music Unlimited to my Custom Playlists. The Fire TV Cube has a built-in Alexa Voice Controller, which can also control your TV & AVR's power and navigation to the Cube's GUI. It takes a little getting used to but for the price, it's amazing. I have a large collection of SACD ISO's and to tell you the truth, the only benefit I see with them is the occasional multi-track recording. I'm over 70, so my ears may not be able to hear what I did years ago. Good Luck

With the video playing, press V on your keyboard, and then enter 888
I don't know if you have to do that each time you play a video containing teletext subtitles though

I also only see versions 107 and 111. I just now installed 111 on my Intel NUC and it works just fine.
When Google Chrome is running, there is a notice in the top right corner about a newer version available. Is there a newer version than 111 for LE? Can it be downloaded elsewhere or only through the Repo?

On the following Kodi Forum page (old), they discuss this issue and post #206 seems to be a fix.

No subtitles are available with Windows Edge Browser
No subtitles are available with Windows Media Player
No subtitles are available with Kodi on Windows 10
Teletext Spanish subtitles are available using MPC-BE x64 Media Player (Windows 10)
Teletext Spanish subtitles are available using VLC Media Player (Windows 10)
It would seem Libreelec does not detect Teletext subtitles.

blueribb, press 4 times the right arrow does not work. No subtitles are detected.
noggin, It is not teletext but subtitles. There is a choice between many languages : spanish, catalan...
Did you access the subtitle menu?
-
Settings / Interface / Skin / Configure Skin / Home Window / Hide Main Menu Buttons
This was with the Confluence Skin
-
While playing a movie, enter the Subtitle Settings menu and make sure Subtitles are turned on (enabled). You can also see what subtitle if any is detected.
Enter the on-screen menu, then press the right arrow key 4 times until you see the subtitle menu.

How much ,,Watts'' are consumed while in suspend mode? Do you tested it?
Depending on the model, between 1 and 3 watts
System / Settings / Power Savings / Shutdown Function --> Suspend
Settings level: "expert"
-
I have an old Intel NUC and have been using "Suspend" instead of Power Off. It draws very little power and works flawlessly. When the power in your house goes out, you must remember to power on using the button on the device when the power in your house is restored. Do all devices support Suspend?

Would a USB to Optical Audio Adapter work?

Not all remotes are 100% compatible with Libreelec. You may have to modify some code in order for it to work normally. I can't help you with that.

Make and Model Number of your remote might be helpful
