strange after update i can not select spdif output
as a matter of fact i can not change the sound output at all
is there a way to change this besides an fresh install?- #!/bin/sh
- sleep 4; \
does the job
-
Only the nvidia driver was changed (no audio seettings). If your using a sound card kodi may load before it has finished initialising so that sound card outputs wont appear in the options. In that case you will have to set a delay to give your card more time to start before kodi loads.
You can quickly test if this is the case by using ssh to restart kodi to see if the other audio outputs appear. If they do appear use something like this:
In the autostart.sh file.
Also newer builds are available on this thread:
did a reset works fine in spdif, thanks

The legacy driver was updated in the latest version (and it no longer works with the 8100, 8200 and 8300 series).
You will have to compile it with an older legacy driver if you want to use 8.0.I have a 8200 so am in the same boat - I have uploaded a version of libreElec with the older Nvidia 304.135 legacy driver here if you are interested:
Releases · sammy2142/LibreELEC.tv · GitHubgreat idea video works fine, however no way to change the audio output

i used to add .kodi to the samba.conf like this
[Kodi]
path = /storage/.kodi
available = yes
browsable = yes
public = yes
writable = yes
this made is easy to move and copy files, this does not seem to work anymore
is there another way to accomplish this? -
Always via an SSH connection to LE's backdoor.
I know, but when it does LE does not go to the "setup wizard" ssh is still closed

Ok, I copied /etc/udev/rules.d/97-xorg.rules to /storage/.config/udev.rules.d/97-xorg.rules and commented the line for the amd driver radeon out. That is working!
Thanks!
how did you get into LE to copy the file?

Same here updated to 8.1.0 and all of a sudden my LE has %H as name en i can not connect to it anymore from my window machine
when i connect with winscp and check nothing has changed

Did you mean for Kodi? If yes, I using
And it works pretty well for me (not big Library, two Pi's clients). Make sure that your Videos DB are innodb also (you can create it with default-storage-engine, or you can alter existing one).I modified also a few of other parameters (not sure which one, some of them are setuped already from vpeters template), not sure if it havinf much influence, but innodb and query cache are confirmed along Kodi forums..
Code
Display Moreskip-external-locking key_buffer_size = 16K max_allowed_packet = 1M table_open_cache = 4 sort_buffer_size = 64K read_buffer_size = 256K read_rnd_buffer_size = 256K net_buffer_length = 2K # You can set .._buffer_pool_size up to 50 - 80 % # of RAM but beware of setting memory usage too high innodb_buffer_pool_size = 10M innodb_additional_mem_pool_size = 2M # Set .._log_file_size to 25 % of buffer pool size innodb_log_file_size = 2M innodb_log_buffer_size = 8M #innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit = 1 innodb_lock_wait_timeout = 50
can you tell me which cnf file i can set my default-storage-engine

Kodi developers changed/improved the buffering code in Krypton. This improves overall playback but results in longer times before playback starts. It's a known/aware problem; the usual complaint is channel zapping in tvheadend or similar. No changes are expected until Kodi v18.thank you very much for this reply

I have an iptv plugin to watch Norwegian news
This used to work very wel in LibreElec 7.0.3 kodi Jarvis 16.1 ever since Krypton it takes ages to open the stream.
Is this purely a Krypton problem?I have tested this on :
LibreElec
7.0.3 kodi Jarvis 16.1 > opens fast
8.0.1 kodi Krypton 17.1 > opens hardly or very slowwindows
kodi Jarvis 16.1 > opens fast
kodi Krypton 17.1 > opens slowI can supply the plugin

Nvidia G7100 or Nvidia G100 ... ?And to be precise: 'previous', just like 'latest' is not a real version number.
previous as in LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-7.0.3
this Nvidia G7100 or Nvidia G100 i van not say/see
just installed the previous version -
That is the chipset, not the video card AFAIK. Please confirm.It's also a pretty ancient chipset... Support for old graphics is not everlasting.
its a build in videocard in the Aspire X1700
it did work on the previous LE version -
after a clean install i get
ERROR: X11 Error: No Display found
FATAL: CApplication::Create: Unable to init windowing systemanybody else had this?
this is the videa card: cer Incorporated [ALI] nForce 610i/630i -
can I use this to update from LE 7
