Hi,
I am curious if anyone knows if 10-Bit 4k HEVC playback is already enabled in Krypton?
I use a Skylake CPU (HD Graphics 530) and Libreelec.
I tried the latest build from Milhouse but the videos are stuttering.
Thanks

I've no idea what your hardware is, or platform but X265 is VERY cpu intensive - even on my I5 4 core.
I've just got HEVC to run on Win10 (Celerion 4 core) with VLC but not Kodi with the same file.(So something is odd there)
At the moment I'd suggest using something like Handbrake to decode down to x264 and your problem is solved.

It works with the Wetek Hub and the Odroid C2.

Skylake supports 8-bit HVEC hardware decode but not 10-bit so you are software decoding and the CPU is struggling. The next generation of Intel kit (Kabylake) is scheduled to support 10-bit.
