Can't boot LE from USB on Surface Pro 4

Hi there,

Ive done a portable LE install of Kodi 17 on a USB that works fine on my Win 7 Laptop.

I can't get it to boot on my Suface Pro though. I have adjusted to boot sequence to have USB at the top.

I have also tried swiping left to boot from the usb immediately but nothing it working.

Any ideas??

The Surface Pro 4 is not on our supported hardware list, simply because none of the LibreELEC Team Members (as far as I know) has such as a device, AND has tried developing & installing LibreELEC on it.

Yes, it probably needs a Generic build, but the boot process may be different. Also, its resolution is a little weird: 2736x1824, as in a 3:2 aspect ratio, which might clash with Kodi internals.

I was reading Arch Linux on The Surface Pro 4 | John Ramsden and you probably need to disable "secure boot" in the BIOS in addition to changing the boot order, but that's a random guess.
