Resize Partition /dev/sda1 230M to 500M

  • Hi.

I have a Intel Nuc running Windows and Libreelec.

The problem is the partiton /dev/sda1 230M is to small, want resize it to 500M.

I have try to use geparte To resize the partiton, but with no luck.

    My nuc look like this.

    /dev/sda1 230M

    /dev/sda2 6,4G

    /dev/sda3 26G

Anybody there know how to do that.

    Thanks.

  • I cant remember how i did it.

    I made it a couple a years a go,with Openelec.

But now i can see it it running out of space, there is only 21M back in /dev/sda1.

    Two options:

    1)

    - Make a backup with the built-in Backup/Restore tool in the LibreELEC Settings addon

    - Install LibreELEC fresh

    - Restore the backup

    2)

Get a Gparted Live session running

    - First resize the larger storage partition

    - Then resize the small system partition

  • It is not possible to install a fresh LibreELEC, because it is a dual boot, and the LibreELEC installer can only see the harddisk, not the partitions.

I have try the Geparted live, but with no luck,i will try it again.
