G18 (G18REF, Matricom MX2, Generic Droid-TV) with Amlogic 8726MX SoC

    Hi all, I just insatalled this ROM
    LibreELEC-Amlogic.MX2.arm-7.0.2.003_EXTRACT_ME_ON_ROOT_SD.zip
    and it seems to work fine.
    The only issue is about screen resolution: the default value is 720p, if I switch to 1080p or 1080i, I get this:

    My TV is SAMSUNG ue55ju7500 and my AndroidBox is exactly this:

    With the original Android firmware it was possible to use 1080p

    But I prefer Libreelec, is more smart !!

    Apparently flashing OE did not help your Cause. Try flashing LibreELEC after reverting back to Android. 3times a charm!!!

    i think my box is done. tried flashing it with that file u provided it just went to a grey screen for second then to a balck screen and it wouldnt do nothing........ it wont go into recovery blue stays on but nothing comes up.


    edit ok i was able to go back to ember. phew......

    Try Re Flashing LibreELEC Maybe now it will install...

    I finally solved my issue,
    it is probably related to the "Elec" os 7.x or Kodi 16.x.
    By using anorther bundle with a previous elec version (6.03) and Kodi 15.2 it works very fine !
    Now I'm able to select 1080p o 4k as screen relolution !

    There was a comment about the remote not working, and the mx2 box not turning off when the shut down option is chosen. Is this the case? I just updated to Nemsis's kodi build, (had to update to open elec 6.0.3 then his build)
