TWIT Addon Kodi Crash

  • After switching from LibreELEC 7 to 8 Kodi 17.3 crashes frequently, when i'm trying to play a video in the TWIT Addon. This never happened, when i was running LibreELEC 7 on my Intel NUC DN2820. Furthermore i don't have any issues with the same TWIT Addon on a Raspi 3 running OSMC with the current Kodi 17.3.

    Here's the crash log: kodi_crash.log

Maybe someone can figure out, if this is a LibreELEC or Addon problem.

HW: Intel NUC DN2820 (2 GB RAM, 120 GB Samsung SSD)

    SW: LibreELEC v8.0.2 MR

    TWIT Addon: 2.1.6

    • Official Post

You have banned add-ons/repositories installed. Remove those first. Otherwise there will be no ongoing support.

You could try with a clean installation by moving/renaming your .kodi folder to something else and then reboot. Install the twit addon directly after that reboot and see if it works with a vanilla kodi/LibreELEC.

FYI, it works pretty fine here on my VM running LibreELEC 8.0.2 with Kodi 17.3. So I guess Kodi isn't the problem in that case.

  • Thanks. But meanwhile i've uninstalled the Addon. Using the TWiT RSS Feed directly as video source for the episodes and Youtube for the Live stream works great. No need for a separate Addon.
