music library update crash

Hi,

After upgrading to version 8 (and the same in 8.0.1), I'm getting a crash when trying to update my music library. Removing the library and re-adding it doesn't help.
Any one have this problem? I've searched the support posts to no avail. Here's a log-file if it helps at all...

Remove any banned/blacklisted add-ons and/or repositories from your Kodi box first. Most likely, the first two on your system. Then try again.

My apologies.

All blacklisted repositories removed now.

But still getting the crash.

The banned add-ons/repositories are still there in your last log.

Make it crash again while updating the music library and after you will have a crash.log in .kodi/temp/kodi_crash.log

I thought I did that. The crash is in fact a 'reboot' every time I try and update the music library.

If it reboots Kodi by itself you should have a file called kodi_crash.log, which should tell us exactly what happened just before it crashed.

Sorry, I get what you're saying now. Jeeze, how dumb can I make myself look?!

In my defence, I'm half asleep now.

Hmmm crash log is too big. It's 300 kb and the limit is 200.
[hr]
So I made it crash again, and got a much smaller crash log this time.

Fix your MySQL ~~Server and/or~~ database first.
If it is corrupted, delete it, and start over.
If you run it on the SD card of your box, your SD card may issues if the problem remains.

Thanks. Any tips on how to fix the SQL database? I'd rather not reinstall for reasons I won't go into here.
