Bluetooth audio drops on RP3

Hello,

Installed latest stable version of Libreelec on 11/03/2017. Paired my GBL Bluetooth speaker and chose Bluetooth as audio output. Plays for 5 secs or so then sound dropped and video freezed. Tried again with GBL ear phones, exactly same things happen.

Any idea?

Btw I'm eternally grateful to Libreelec team for such a masterpiece. It's a really great piece of software. My ultimate player on RP3.

The internal Bluetooth on the RPi3 is really weak. You should try using a USB Bluetooth dongle if you can and disabling the on board Bluetooth.

So you mean it's the distance? Do you know any affordable compatible dongle i could have?

I mean the device doesn't seem to provide enough bandwidth to sustain an audio stream.
