Fresh Install on Pi Zero W - No Wifi or Bluetooth

I have a fresh install of Noobs 2, which has LibreELEC 8.0.0.0 (Kodi 17.0 Kryton), and I've used this to install on to my Pi Zero W (the new Wireless and Bluetooth version of the Pi). Noobs happily sees that there is a wifi dongle, and lets me connect to my network, but LibreELEC shows no Network connections, and cannot find any Bluetooth dongles.

As I have no way of connecting to the device remotely, I am unable to provide a dmesg or lusb trace I'm afraid, but it's a stock Pi Zero W.

Same here. Have WiFi with raspbian but not with latest libreelec. Tried multiple clean installs. Its looks like libreelec does not yet see the integrated WiFi card op de rPi Zero W

Edit: in my case Noobs also sees the WiFi card (and raspbian as mentioned before) but libreelec does not. (Fyi openelec also doesnt see the WiFi card from de rPi Zero W)

I managed to get a hold of a USB Ethernet device, so I was able to provide a dmesg and lsusb for you:

WIMS
Wafj

The Ethernet device is the Linksys

The rPi Zero W main selling point for me was not having to connect a WiFi dongle (or usb ethernet dongle) to connect to the internet.

Hope someone can help or point us in the right direction

LibreELEC will have support for in it v8.0.1 in next days.

look at my post above bud, lrusak says no bt or wifi for pi zero till 8.0.1.

Me 2 :p thanks for the info.
Side question: with rPi Zero in raspbian i have tried to watch YouTube but the chromium webbrowser is unusable slow. Is this also the case with you ?

I've not tried tbh, had to get back to normal work

Using any single core CPU and running chromium is going to be unusably slow. Don't expect so much from a $10 device running an outdated processor. [emoji6]

Wifi works with that build, just kodi crashed during setup when I pressed connect. It restarted and then could go into settings and connected succesfully.

I'd like to see "journalctl -b 0 --no-pager | paste" from first boot (or after hard reset to clear all config) to see what that connect error is about. Share the sprunge.us URL generated.

Sorry i tried reproducing it 3 times, but now it seems to be working fine. Tried reflashing and hard reset.
