dim screensaver shows video

I have the issue that the Dim screensaver shows the last frame of the last played video.

Whilst googling, I found one other instance of someone with the same problem
DIM screensaver shows video background but setting is disabled

I recently did a clean install of 7.95.3 and then upgraded to 8.0.
The only addons I have running are:
- Backup
- Youtube

I am running only the Estuary skin.

Does anybody else have this issue? And is there a fix?

On which hardware? We have several different builds for different hardware.
Maybe it's a general Kodi problem, but also maybe it is not.

I am running the imx6 version. ( I have a Cubox i4 pro)
