Minimum sample rate setting

After updating to Libreelec 8, I discovered that the minimumsamplerate setting in advancedsettings did not work anymore

I opened a support request which gave me a workaround, but I would like to have the patch back in 8.0 or maybe there is another solution?

Just to add info, here is the commit when the patch was removed

I do not want to be impolite, but is there any way I can get attention on this? There must be more people who have a problem with this, I was under the impression, the lack of support for lower sample rates is a common problem with Pioneer receivers, so they need this setting.

Hi all,

same here, had used the higher sampling rate via advanced settings since several versions.
Unfortunately my Pioneer receiver obviously needs 48 kHz.

Any hints? We need a solution...

what device you have ?? for LE ? i can build test image but only for Intels ...

I have a Beebox (Intel based). Would apreciate it a lot if you could build a fix on the current 8 version.

here build with that patch for you please confirm if still working, since this patch watch made was a lot of changes in AE

Thank you for trying, but it isn't working. Kodi can't start at all afte installing this vesion and it takes a very long time for linux to actually start.

Thanks a lot. This one is working. It starts Kodi and the sound setting is used.

Only it takes a very long time for Kodi to start up. Normally it starts up in a second? I do not know which logfile would help in this, since the kodi log starts after the delay. In the system log in see a lot of times:

[drm:intel_dp_aux_ch] dp_aux_ch timeout status 0x71450064
