Update to Krypton from Jarvis?

    Is it possible to update my installation from Jarvis to Krypton (once the v8.0.0 is released) on my Rpi 3 without having to format the SD card? I think I remember having to "start from scratch" when I installed Jarvis from Isengard. I just wanted to know for future reference, as I have a couple of devices needing upgrading..

    Also, I think one of my devices is running OpenELEC Isengard... Can I do a simple update from that to Krypton too, or would that be pushing it? I think there would be enough differences between OpenELEC Isengard and LibreELEC Jarvis to make a fresh install more probable.

    There shouldn´t be a problem updating from Jarvis.

    If you want to update from Isengard I would consider a fresh install. Updating might work, but if not you have to do it anyways.

    In either cases, make backups before to be safe.
