7.95.1 Generic x86_64 Hauppage Remote not working (fresh install)

I have had the same problem on 7.95.1 Generic, I have tried irrecord and it recognized the remote and built an .conf file but no response from kodi or irw. I am using a HVR-1250.

After updating from 7.0.3 to 7.95.2 my remote stopped working too.
I use a USB Dongle (mceusb) and a MCE Remote profile for my Harmony 515.
No keypresses are recognized under 7.95.2 with "irw"

The mceusb Dongle worked fine with OpenElec and LibreElec for years.
