Then install fresh from img and reinstall the addon directly.

With your build it's working, but with Kszaq' it still gives the error. I've tried also loading your files to that build, but with no success, same DTV_CLEAR message shows up.
I would stick with your build, however I don't like the dmesg messages about the i2c errors , etc.
-
Did you try installing the addon from my Repo in Kszaq's build?
-
-
On fresh kszaq img install?
-
Do you need some additional logs , traces ?
-
Yes, I've just installed his image.
Tried both:
and also previous one:
8.1.9.
Same issue.

My idea was that its related to the ELF class of the Sundtek blob. Ages ago I used to install the arm64 blob which was wrong. That's why I'm asking about fresh install because if you had an earlier version of that addon the blob downloaded from Sundtek might be still stored.
So I have to admit I don't know what's wrong. Since it's working with my build there must be a difference in patchsets for the kernel but that's something kszaq needs to check.

It’s strange anyway...

Hi guys,
has this been resolved somehow? I have the same issue with the DVB-C/T stick on my little China box (AML S905X) ... (yes, I do realize that cheap boxes and expensive tuners do not make too much sense, but I already own the tuners ...).
Cheers,

It needs to be solved in the community build you are using.

Ok, I understand that. I am using kszaq 's build and you said somewhere above that the two of you try to keep in sync in this respect ...

So, I opened a new thread for this topic as per kszaq 's and your request.
