Be kind I'm new at this (Libreelec/kodi). I want to be able to access the os in a terminal on the same pc. I can do it from another computer using SSH, but for the life of me I can't understand why I can't from the pc running LibreElec/Kodi. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been searching for a week for this before I posted. Everything I find is SSH or no answer. Just thought I might be missing something obvious. thanks

the system tools addon will give you a kind of a console as well. But I would recommend SSH, too

Is CTRL+ALT+F3 supposed to bring up a virtual terminal on the current master branch?
