I'm not forcing anyone. Its just an proposal.
Sorry if that came accross the wrong way - Just a genuine question!

I created those to have Amazon VOD, Netflix, SkyGo, libretro etc working with inputstream.adaptive. On a side effect it fixes the memleak. Those builds are otherwise nearly identical. I'm trying to PR every fix as fast as possible. The network fix is pending to be merged in LE. Only exception is the change to the buildsystem. This is still WIP and not targeted for LE8. Hopefully it will be included in LE9.
My main priority is official LE. My community builds are for preview features and fixing bugs.
Fixed in our LE kernel now: stmmac: Disable EEE to avoid rare network outage by Raybuntu · Pull Request #39 · LibreELEC/linux-amlogic · GitHub
Next official LE8 build will probably include the fix.
One thing I have noticed is that holding down the OK button on the Wetek Play 2 remote no longer brings up the context menu.
This same problem is also present on the fixed 32 bit version provided by Raybuntu.
so could anyone shed some light into "How to assign the contect menu to long ok button press" ?
so which file needs to be tweaked and which code?
does this build still have the patch?

any more info on the long ok button press?

Long ok press should work again. At least in my builds.
lets wait for Beta 7.95.3 now.

it does not include the patch, bad devs ! (kidding of course)
I'll built 7.95.3 with the network patch.

Any ideas why it's not? Would be kinda useful to get this into the next release properly...

The word was they had other kernel updates planned and wanted to wait to include all of these in one big pull but it seems that those have not yet been created yet so I think they "forgot".
No biggie, i'm running a compile right now.
I created a PR. Should be includedin the next builld. 7.95.3 was a quick release for the mem fragmentation issue.

Thanks, I saw, they closed my PR with this fix before 7.95.3

Long press on buttons isn't working in this release, just giving you a heads up, I guess whatever fixes the long press issue hasn't been merged in to the official LibreELEC code yet as it works fine on Raybuntu's releases

That's low! Sorry for that. Indeed it was not nice.

Correct, i'll see if I can pull that in if its not merged soon.
It you could do that'd be great. It's pretty much a deal breaker for me & stopping me from going back over to the official releases.
Having to break out the Kodi Remote App on my phone just to delete a recording that I've finished watching is a bit of a pain
