RPI3 LibreElec connecting to WIFI with user/pass

Hello all,

Can anyone help me setup the connection with LibreElec and RPI3. When I connect to WIFI network, on smartphone or a PC, the web browser pops up, and I enter username and pass, and my device is authorized. So I am trying to find the same option to authorize my RPI on the network. I tried web viewer addon, and the web page is presented, but when I enter user/pass and click submit, nothing happens.

Does anyone know of a working method for this?

You need to enter the LibreELEC Settings addon, and go to the Connections tab. Click on the correct wifi signal to connect, and so on...

all that is connected, but i need to authorize my rpi on the wifi, and it is only possible by entering username and password in a web browser.

There is no option for the Rpi to authorize on "guest wifis" like they are offered at hotels and so on. Connect directly to the wifi by using the wifi key and make sure there is no other authorisation needed.

if it's your router, then do the changes internally.

thanks, it is a school network, and there is no other option...

ok, it is not a real school network, just a network around the campus housing so it is a guest network

and here is the solution:

spoofed my smartphone MAC address to the RPI MAC address, authorized, changed my smartphone MAC back to the original, turned on RPI and the internet works
