The Hide -Movies (Videos-Library) and Hide-TV shows (Videos- Library) is grayed out so I can't get them to show up on my main screen.

Those are only greyed out because you have not yet properly scanned in your video collection.
Follow all steps on the right side of the wiki page up to the Set content and scan part.
