just installed kodi to a mini pc but no sound if boot it off a ubuntu live usb the sound works
using a HDMI cable from the computer to my tv
display: LG B4
mini-pc: ZOTAC ZBOX nano ID63

I'm a newbie at reading debug logs, but I think I noticed something. Also, it seems like you haven't tested playing a file, so my advice might be suspect or incomplete.
If I'm reading the log correctly, check what devices are selected as audio output (regular and passthrough). I think you have selected the wrong one.
The log shows multiple audio devices detected (which is normal), so I'm expecting more than one to show up in your list. Your TV is connected on "Device 4" (hdmi:CARD=PCH,DEV=0). But it starts at looking at "hdmi:CARD=PCH,DEV=1" (DEVICE 5) and fails to find anything, then goes to the default device which isn't where things are plugged in.
Be aware of the settings level you have selected (basic/advanced/expert) as some settings are hidden depending on what level you have selected.

true but even in GUI there is no sound and on my old raspberry pi there is sounds in the menus
