[RPi5] Movie crashes always at same position

    The file is "Irgendwie Schwanger (2025).mkv" ? .. If yes, this ^ is recorded in the logs (two different plays of the file). You'd need to enable ffmpeg debugging in Kodi logging settings to perhaps see more info about the media stream - that might show if there are other issues or oddities in the file, e.g. from bad encoding.

    If you have a spare SD card, test the same file with an LE13 nightly and see if that makes a difference?

    Yes its the file "Irgendwie Schwanger (2025).mkv" and the same issue is for the file "The Unforgivable (2021)". Both files play fine with VLC media player on Windows.

    You think the encoding of the files if faulty? I enabled component-specific logging for video components and ffmpeg libraries. Is that what you meant? https://paste.libreelec.tv/gorgeous-parrot.log

    Is there any tool to check the coding of a mkv file?

    I will try the latest LE13 nightly build with this two files in the meantime.

    If it fails with LE13 nightly, and you can reproduce with a sample file (e.g. create a one minute file around the part which crashes), then we can take a look at the file (e.g. upload the sample to google drive).

    I tried it with the sample and there it isn't failing. It must be something with the whole file... and both files that are failing fail nearly around 80% of playtime...

    Unlikely to be memory/cache related (and not a direction we'd look in). Please upload the whole file to Google drive and email a private link to chewitt@ our domain. I'll confirm Pi devs have it downloaded so you can delete the file/share after.
